I studied competing products and API constraints to define a focused first release. The MVP allowed creators to generate editable captions and add HookSounds music within the same workflow, connecting the new utility to our core catalogue.

After launch, I explored how ShortCap could support text-to-speech, saved projects and additional creator tools without forcing them into the original captioning flow.
